My husband went on Lisinopril a few months ago. He was monitoring his blood pressure and the only time it was high was when he was in the doctors office. This particular doctors office irritates him every time! He told them about his pressure being lower the rest of the time, but they told him to take the meds anyways. He says he has never felt right since starting them. About a month after this, he had out patient surgery for a hernia. About three weeks later, he started having depression so bad he ended up in the emergency room. He is 56 years old and looked like he was 80. He can't work and is now taking Zoloft and Buspar. He is a little better, being on the meds for about 2 weeks. I have read that blood pressure medicine can trigger depression in some one who is susceptible, he had a bout with depression about 13 years ago Anyone have any advice or help? Thanks
