View Full Version : What is the difference between nonreactive and negative?

My doctor recently said I had "irregular fatty infiltration".
Liver function was normal.
Hep A is nonreactive
Hep B is nonreactive
Hep C is negative

I am going to a GI guy in a week. I was exposed to hep B years ago, and understand that I have antibodies, but the above test results don't make any sense to me.

Can someone help explain the concerns with "irregular fatty infiltration" and the difference between nonreactive and negative?

Thanks in advance!
