During the summer I had been tanning frequently and began to get white specks on my upper stomach. After I noticed them I started to stay out of the sun more but they still seem to be spreading. I heard that it could be Tinea Versicolor and to use Head and Shoulders to get rid of it. I had done that now for about a week, and it is spreading still and has gotten a little on my chest and on my upper arms. When I used the head and shoulders and left it on during the day I noticed that the bumps turned red and itchy.. I assume they're itchy because I have shampoo on them... But today I noticed behind my ears it feels rough and bumpy now, much different than the speckles on my stomach, and it is also on the back of my neck. I have an appointment Thursday but I really don't want to have to go to the appointment unless I really can't get rid of it by then. I am so sick of doctor's appointments. I have enough problems as it is. I have a non-functioning kidney that I am going to have to have taken out because of obstruction. When is this going to just end?
I really need help.. I'm not sure about what my skin thing even is.
Has anyone had the same issue or can give me ANY information??
Thanks in advance..

I get "sun spot's" too. It's from a fungus that you cant see unless you have darker skin like when you tan. My boyfriend has a case of it that will not go away, so he keeps giving it back to me. Well, I use Selson Blue shampoo. I apply it before my shower to my entire upper body (waist to neck, front, back and arms.) then leave it on for only 10 minutes, then wash it off. Do it three days in a row, and it should go away. I read this on a doctor's site.
