My doc wants to try something new. He said to come back in a month. (Why wait so long? Duh!) Lipitor
used to make my inner leg muscles ache and got a flu
syndrome. I used to take Mevacor, but my doc didn't
think it kept up w/my body making cholesterol.
What do you think he will try this time? I also
have those white things under my eyes- cholesterol
deposits I guess.

Try Questran light, it is an ok tasting powder drink you can take during the day, it binds up bile salts and fatty stuff, it does all the work in your intestines and leaves your liver alone, works great for me

I'm just curious to know whether or not heart disease runs in your family. The reason I ask this is because we have heard from people with very high cholesterol who have no family history of heart disease.
