For 2-3 days i have been feeling a little bit pain on the upper portion of my left chest and at the same time on the back side sometimes. Sometimes the same pain i feel on the right side of my chest. Pain is not severe. I can do everything with this.I also take atenolol 25mg for controlling my BP. Now usually my BP is 120/80. My age is 31 and cholestorol level is 152. I do not have diabeties. Would you pls suggest me what can be the cause of my chest pain.

Shamima,
I am not a doctor. I have no medical training whatsoever. But I have read about the symptoms of heart problems, and if I had such symptoms, I would be heading to the doctor immediately to find out if it's anything that needs to be attended to. It's better to wind up being a bit embarassed because of finding out that it's just a bit of indigestion or something like that, than to wait too long so that you require much stronger medical intervention for something serious. I'd go to the doctor. It can be a gall bladder problem, it can be a mini-heart attack (the symptoms for women are often differnt for those of men), it can be something very mild. Please get it looked at. And let us know how it went at the doctor's office. If you can't get in right away, then show up at an emergency clinic.
