I am 68 years old,and one week ago I began to have shoulder pain, I went to my doctor, he gave me steroid shots, some pain pills and ordered x-rays and an MRI. Since having the shots, I still have pain now and then,( especially during the night) but most importanly, I now have numbness and loss of power in the upper arm. My doctor went away and will not return until Monday, the 21st., he said he gave me a shot in the wrong area (after veiwing the x-rays) and wants me to come in for another shot, of which I am not sure I want to do. He injected the same needle in several areas when he gave me the shot and someone told me I could have gotten an infection from him using the same needle instesd of new ones. I would greatly appreciate a reply of any sort as soon as possible, as I very worried about the numbness and loss of power.
Thanks for any helpyou might be able to provide.
Bert
