Is it alright to skip my period with Yaz, by skipping the placebo pills and starting the new pack? I know people do it sometimes with other birth control but I just wanted to make sure it was alright to do with Yaz. And it's not unhealthy right?

Yes, it is ok. I have been on Yaz for @ 2 yrs now. My dr. told me I could skip the white pills 3 times, take them & then go back to skipping them 3 times. Don't skip it more than the 3 months, or else you'll start spotting every day. (lesson learned)
