My husband is taking lisinopril 5mg in the evening, 25mg of metoprolol succ in the morning for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He was just prescripted arthrotec #50 for his knee. Should these three drugs be taken together?

Can a person drink alcohol taking these drugs?

Arthrotec is an NSAID, and if you read the sheet that the pharmacy includes with the prescription is says not to drink alcohol while taking NSAIDs - it should also warn about mixing it with other NSAIDs such as ibuprofen.

I'm not sure about the other two medications, but if in doubt call your pharmacist as they should know about any interactions.
