OK my BF has had a skin problem since he hit puberty. He says its just REALLY bad acne. He thinks so because he saw a dermatologist when it first started and they gave him medicine that only made it worse.

I'm concerned because I don't think that its just acne. He gets it EVERYWHERE!!! Legs, back, scalp!!!, butt!!!, arms, face, neck, around sexual organs!!!???, ect...EVERYWHERE!!! I don't really like putting his business out here for everyone but I don't know what else to do...I pick at them for him but he HATES it a lot, I wouldn't do it at all though if they would just stay black heads or white heads, bit they don't. If he leaves them (which he does a lot because they hurt) then they turn into blood bumps about the size of a large bug bite. Like I said, I don't think this is just acne. I think it's some kind of skin infection. But where do I take him to find out EXACTLY what it is and a way to help the won't make it worse like the last time?? All that medicine did was make them swell up and he has developed BIG scars...not little itty bitty ones like normal acne.
