It's apperntly a new Statin(was approved in canada in late Febuary 2003. Im wondering if any one else is on it, and if so if they have een having any problems with it.

I started taking it 2 nights ago, 1st night it gave me a bit nausea, so the second night I took it with some PB&J toast, and I felt as though I was going to throw up.

In the last 3-4 days I have started to get slight pain in my knees and calfs. I dont know if it is unrelated or if it is a side effect of the 2 new drugs I was put on.

Rosuvastatin Calcium - Crestor 20mg
Rampril - 5mg

Well I Have been on Crestor for about 2 months now and just got my blood work back for a test I did on the 6th of june

Total Cholesterol : 4.68 mmol/L (181 mg/dl)
LDL: 2.85 mmol/L (111 mg/dl)
HDL: .97 mmol/L (38 mg/dl)
TRI: 2.03 mmol/L (180 mg/dl)
TC/HDL : 5.2

Old numbers were
Total Colestoral : 8.7 mmol/L (336 mg/dl)
HDL : .8 mmol/L (30.9 mg/dl)
LDL : 7.42 mmol/L (287 mg/dl)
Tri : 2.4 mmol/L (212.5 mg/dl)
TC/HDL : 11.6


I hope i did the math right
