does it work instantly?
my boyfriend and I had intercourse the same day I put it in.. (I asked him to help me put it in and one thing led to another) and didn't realize that I forgot to ask the pharmicist how long to wait before it would be effective..
I'm due for my period next week so we'll see how THAT goes.. but it would be comforting to know we were okay.

You should really read the instructions, or ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain it for you. There's quite a bit of information you should know about using it, to be sure it works for you. Whether or not it works immediately depends on when in your cycle you inserted it.

People really need to read the inserts that come with the medications. No, it doesn't work immediately, I'd take Plan B or a pregnancy test.

The instructions were on the outside on the label.. they mentioned nothing about waiting so many days as my pills had.
