i am suffering from herpes so called,,,,,,,my question to you is that i have seen a doctor in this context and he assured me that there are treatments available and its curable right now i am having this stuff called
acicilovor which the doctor recomende me to have three times a day am i seeing the right doctor?????

I think you misunderstood the doctor. There is no 'cure' for herpes. Acyclovir is very effective at suppressing the virus but it remains in the body for life. Even so, if you take acyclovir immediately you get the symptoms (it always comes back in the same area of the body) it is quite controllable.

like the previous poster said: it doesn't cure it but it makes it go away. however herpes stays with you for life.
i also got acyclovir but the doc told me to take it twice a day 800 ml.
