I have been having swelling of my right foot, leg and hand. I do not have problems with the left side. Does this sound like anything to do with my heart? I know swelling can be a sign of CHF but i just dont understand why its on my right side only.

I usually notice this swelling when it is time for me to have my period. Could hormones be causing this?
