Hi all, (male 39)
I got my results today and the Dr. told me my levels are slightly elevated. My levels are 5.9
He said his other concern was my HDL level of 0.9 apparently here the lower limit of normal is 0.9 So I am border line normal. Thing is what is 0.9? every I look it talks about <35 etc. what is 0.9 in relation to that?
Thing is admittedly my diet is bad mainly just oatmeal, chicken and about 9 eggs a week of which 4 are egg whites. I dont drink, eat junk food or sweets. However I dont eat fruit at all (never have) and not much veg. I am of average weight for my height. I used to work out like crazy for 4 years and then about 10 months ago I stopped completely and started to slob out doing nothing. My levels 2 years ago were normal. Could they have jumped like this so quickly and how quickly can I get them back to normal again?
Anyway have any ideas?
Cheers
