Just wondering if anyone else has done this? This is a scary one...It has only happenend about 5 times in the last 3 months...But I have had a CT with and without Contrast last month so I would think that would have showed anything dangerous...Like today I was at the store and I was feeling ok, I always have a little anxiety tho...But It was time to cash out and she told me what the amount was so I got into my purse, opened up my wallet...Than all the sudden complete disorientation, dont know whats going on, dont know where my money is or how to get it...Its like Im frozen cause i dont even get the feeling I need to run it is a total blankness and i feel frozen and my mind is blank and then of course then I panic, the whole thing only lasts like 30 seconds maybe not even that long just feels like it...So does anyone know if this is part of Panic and Anxiety???? I have had a CT that was normal... :(

Not sure if this is what is causing yours or not, but I have a sensitivity to being in fluorescent lighting because of the invisible pulse it gives out.
I get very disoriented sometimes in a store with that kind of lighting. I will feel like I am going to just pass out or I will feel like I have to get out of there.
No one else around me has this sensitivity but then I am the only one with anxiety disorder. I think we can be more sensitive to disturbing visual and audio things than most who can just block it out or not be affected by it.
Yes, the feelings that I get cause a panic attack. I have even had to tell husband that I need to go outside. Going outside makes it better.
Best of luck in figuring out what is going on for you.

This happens to me sometimes too. I get it when I'm driving. Like for a few seconds I forget where I'm going or feel like my surroundings are unfamiliar. It's almost like I'm in a dreamlike state. It can be very scary. I'm also sensitive to lighting like the previous poster. My eyes start getting funny and I feel like my vision is going on me then I start to get worried and sometimes feel faint. Anxiety can be troublesome:(

YES! It's awful & happens to me too. I get disorientation & feelings of being in a dream. And I'm very sensitive to lights. Flourescent lighting can trigger anxiety, depression & migraines. I believe it's called "Over Illumination".
