'm only 13 years old and am afraid to tell my mom about a soar that I have on my pubic hair area. Its red and only looks like a bump or soar. It doesn't sting or hurt or burn or anything like that. But if I squeeze it it only hurts as if I'm popping a pimp. Do I have herpes?!?! Is there something seriously wrong with me!!!!!!! HELP!!! :confused::mad:

If you are sexually active you definitely need to see a dr. What you describe could just be a pimple or ingrown hair, but again, if you are having sex, you need to see a dr and discuss it. I won't lecture you, but can't let it go with out saying... you are 13... there is alot of life ahead of you. Don't risk your health and emotional well-being at this stage in your life. Your mom will be understanding than you think, but if you truly don't want to tell her.. tell someone you trust. An aunt, a friend's mother. See a dr....make sure you are safe, protected, and healthy...then enjoy being young without the stresses that adult situations bring. Best wishes!!!

Have you tried anything that was suggested in your other thread? If you are not sexually active, it is most likely a ingrown hair. Hot compresses might bring it out too. Usually a herpes sore will not last a week and it would be open and burning

Yeah im doing fine. I asked my mom what it was finally and she said she used to get them when she was my age! So i don't have herpes!!! Yeah!!! :) :) :D
