Don't know.

I took Lipitor 40 mg for years (more than 5), was switched to Zycor 10:40 about a year ago to try to get my LDL down below 70, and finally have been on Zycor 10:80 for about 6 months. Zycor is a combination of zetia and zocor (and I've read all the Netherlands publicity associated therewith).

Haven't had any recognizable side effects from any of these. I'm not allergic to any medicines so far as I know, and that may make a difference.
