My husband has recently broken out with a rash. It began around the waistband of his underwear and on his hip. He also has a couple of places on his stomach. The places have a very small yellow head in the middle of a raised red patch of skin. The places itch but do not hurt. I have nagged and nagged but he insists he doesn't have time to go to the doctor. (White coat phobia, I think.;)) We recently stayed at a hotel and thought maybe bed bugs? He had been in a wooded area about two days before he broke out. Could these be chigger bites? I washed all of our bed linens as a precaution, however I have not broken out. One of our children has a similiar but much milder rash on his bottom. Anyone have any ideas?
