Hey everyone, a little concerned and hoped you'd be kind enough to give me a little advice! :)

I'm a 19 year-old male, underweight. The past few days, i've noticed I can see and feel the thick vein in my inner right thigh (the femoral vein). It appears green and it sticks out, i can feel it as a bump when i run my finger across the inner thigh. My right leg from the thigh down to the calf and foot are now numb, or 'dead'.

I've been reading about the possibilities and it seems likely it's deep-vein thrombosis? Can anybody shed some light on this?

Thanks everyone!

I have had DVT in my left leg, and it isn't pleasant. Do you have pain? When you have DVT you usually have pain associated with it and it is a deep throbbing ache. It is quite painful.

IF you are sure you have this, get yourself into an ER or doctor office because 50% of them are found on the autopsy table. I was lucky, but I spent a week in the hospital on complete bed rest with my leg elevated with a heparin drip running full bore for 6 days.

Don't mess around with this.
