I have been on lexapro in the recent past. Hung in there til it starting working but the side effects made it unbearable. Very bad consipation, very slow, NO sex drive at all, and weight gain. I could live with some but NOT all. The good news is I went off it slowly and semi painlessly and I licked some of the anixiety on my own. I even got where I can sleep without meds. BUT the one thing I couldn't lick is my bad, bad headahces are back. I know they are due to the anxiety or the clenching I do at nite maybe because on the lexapro I didn't have them. So here's my question, IF I only were to take 5mg lexapro instead of the 10 or 20 would the side effects be lessen? I mean after you are on it awhile, I know in the beginning we all have them. And would they possible help with the headaches since I have got ahold on some of my anxiety issues? Anyone???
