View Full Version : Rush of blood to the head while I lift weights?

I've been lifting weights 4-5 days a week for about a year now and for the past couple of weeks I've been getting a "head-rush" or rush of blood to the head after I get done with a set of squats. I was wondering what causes this because I haven't changed the amount of weight I squat and I have been keeping my head up and breathing great.

*This "head-rush" only occurs after squatting and no other workouts.

Are you holding your breath at any time?

Are you holding your breath at any time?

No, as I said in my original post: I am breathing great. I breathe in deep going down and exhale deep as I come up.
