my hubbys best mate has just been told that he has had 2 mini strokes but when we took him in for his scanner results he said the consulant has told him that they cant find any sign of a stroke but my hubbys mate is adamant that he has had 2 strokes can this be the case even if a scanner has showed no signs of this, also he has not been kept in hospital he was only in for 12 hours, could he be pulling the wool over our eyes

Mini strokes or TIAs do not show up on MRIs. And as a rule of thumb you usually do not stay in the hospital for a long length of time. The doctors usually put you on blood tinners, meds to lower your cholesterol and blood pressure if needed. At least thats what they do where I work.

yes he is on all the meds that you describe i feel so awful now for doubting him :(
