i just found out from my doctor that my ekg showed LVH (left ventricular hypertrophy) and i definitely have high blood pressure. does anyone have any experience with this? i have towait two weeks to go back and have my pressure checked again and then she wants to send me for an echocardiogram. any info would be great. thanks! : )

It's enlargement of the left ventricle due to your higher blood pressure. Pending your echo results, you will be put on a antihypertensive (high blood pressure medication) that will bring your blood pressure down to acceptable limits. This, in turn, will most likely reduce the size of your ventricle, thus bringing it back to normal dimensions.
