I am nausea's all day everyday. I've been dealing with nausea and vomiting for years. It use to come in waves for the past couple of years but now I have it 24/7. It's so bad that I've not been able to go back to work. I worked these past two years with nausea and vomiting throughout the day, vomiting between patients, having my coworkers inject me with Phenergan at times so that I can make it through the day.
I am under the care of a GI specialist but all test and studies have come back normal. He's referring me to another GI doctor that specializes in nausea and vomiting. My GI expressed that he had exhausted all tests, studies and medications, therefore, he had no other choice but to refer me to another specialist a couple of hours from where I reside.
I'm miserable. I feel sick all day. I feel sick if I eat, if I don't eat, there's times I can't keep my food down and sometimes I have to force myself to eat. I don't know if there's anybody else that feels this way, I feel like I'm the only one.

Have they considered a side effect of any medications you might be on?
I had a friend years ago who was on medicine for epilepsy and had to be on another medication to control her nausea and vomiting which was as constant as yours.
Hope your specialist finds an answer for you soon.

I suffer from the same problem vomiting after some meals and nauseated all day. I went to a specialist and had the camera down my throat he stated that my oesophagus wasn't contracting and braking up the food, only the medication he has given me hasn't helped completely but does alleiviate it slightly. He has put me on Losec 20mg twice a day before meals and metaclopramide (anti-nausea) three times a day. DOn't know if this was any help, but maybe thats some ideas to try. I also started eliminating foods from my diet I found that after eating beef, yoghurt, milk and even drinking water would make me vomit. This is the only thing that has helped incredibly.

Have they considered that the nausea is a secondary symptom of another cause than GI?

Your story sounds exactly how I feel except I'm not yet (knock on wood) vomiting. I think that has to do with the fact that I'm taking Promethazine and Zofran. I can't eat or sleep or function, I just feel crappy all day every day. My doc says it's IBS and I need to take Lexapro to help me get it under control. I have been struggling with stomach issues for years but this is the worst I think I've ever felt. I truly feel like a nonfunctional human being right now. I feel like crap whether I eat or not so have been trying to force some food down. I feel like I have something in the pit of my stomach and am also taking Nexium and Zantac for reflux. I am going to have a Gall Bladder scan and going to see the gastroenterologist. I want the tube down my throat, I'm so tired of feeling sick and tired. I want to know what's wrong and am tired of taking several different meds a day and not getting much relief. I also tried Reglan but it didn't seem to help much. Please let us know if you get any answers, I'd love to hear what they suggest for you. I would definately ask for something to keep you from vomiting though, no need to suffer like that although I still feel really nauseous all the time even after I take them. Good luck.
