Dont know if anyone has ever heard of this, I will try to be brief:
I have a history of migraines, one day I got a migraine and if anyone has ever gotten one, one symptom is you see spots in one of your eyes. That happened and I got a headache, the next day, I woke up and I still saw a dot/spot in my eye. I was like you looked in the sun by accident or bright light and a dot was there. It is small. That happened about 7months ago. The dot is still there. I have gotten an MRI, been to neurologist (negative results). Basically clean bill of health. Had blood tests to rule out lupus. I went to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and the Doctor there said this could be related to birth control pills. That the circulation is being cut off in a blood vessel.
Has anyone had a situation or know of someone that they can forward this on to to confirm this??
Any advice.
Thank you.

Hi, I don't know about the spot so I can only advise you to be careful. I too get migraines and went on birth control pills. I got a headache one day that would not go away and it turned out to be a bleed on the brain and a blood clot in the brain which they believe was a result of the pill. I live in Norway now and their guidelines recommend that women who get migraines do not use hormonal forms of birth control due to this risk. Good luck!
