my dad claims cinnamon is bad.. i dont know why, he wont tell me because MAYBE it's something sexual.. i dont want to hear anything like that from him. i can't find any supporting evidence where it says cinnamon is bad for you.. so anyone have any idea what it could be? it's getting on my nerves, i like boiling the cinnamon bark inside my tea when i heat it up.. and he's saying dont.

Cinnamon in normal amounts is good for you, however, constant contact could cause an allergic reaction or cause irritation of the mouth and swelling of lips.
If you drink a couple glasses of tea each day, that should be o.k. If you drink tea constantly, you could run the risk of side effects.

Like the other poster said, unless you have an allergic reaction to it, there is nothing wrong with cinnamon. In fact, some scientists believe it may help your body process insulin, helping to lower cholesterol, blood pressure and control blood sugar. Just don't go over board (like eating it by the spoonful:jester:), and use it like you have been, and all should be perfectly fine.

great, thanks!
it's very little amounts anyway, a cup or two of tea per day.
