For almost 2 weeks i have been suffering from burning in my throat and nose. It comes and goes. I feel fine first in the morning, it gets worse as the day goes on but is fine while i am sleeping. Now i am having center/right sided chest pains, they come and go but nothing continuious. Could this all be from acid reflux or gerd or something?? Im worried once again that it is my heart.

Does sound like it could be from heartburn. Do you take any medications? I have trouble swallowing and have had times that this happened due to a pill getting stuck on it's way down and disolving . . . like Keflex, the little green antibiotic with powder inside the capsule.

The only medication i take is ativan .5mg each night before bed. It just dissolves in my mouth though.

Since the burning is related to your nose, mouth and chest - I would think it would just be heartburn related. These are all places that are connected to the esophagus. You can now buy Prilosec over the counter, get the strongest mg that you can and try taking those. You'll have to take them for a few days to get the real effect. You can also try pepcid. If either of those are help it is probably that. If not, just run in for a little dr. visit. It will most probably be something real simple.

Sounds to me like reflux. Burning in the throat and tight chest. Not too sure about the nose though. Try going to the doctor and see if they can prescribe losec for you or try mylanta or gaviscon from the supermarket or chemist and see if that helps.
