Look and see if it's maybe an ingrown hair. If so, that's fine, and pulling out the hair should make the bump heal. If not, I can't say.

It is a little left of the groin area. No pain or soreness with it.

I would say either a pimple or as Janewhite said, an ingrown hair. If you find one on the labia (genital lips), it could also be a genital wart or a labial cyst. Since it is away from that area, I would go with that.
If you are not able to pull an ingrown hair from it, you may just want to see if it goes away on its own.

in that case,it could possibly be just a bit of a swollen up lymph node. we do have lymph nodes within that particular area. for some reason,at certain times, they can be actually felt and palpable with the fingertips. you may just wnat to see your doc and have this area evaluated. i personally can always feel my right lymph node in that area too. my left one is not palpable at all. is this just a "lump' type thing that is not red or painful to the touch at all? if so,this could be like i mentioned above, just a lymph node. sometimes they get a bit larger when we are fighting off infection but other times they just 'are' that way for no apparent reason. any growth or lump under our skin should just always be evaluated by at least your primary doc. then let him or her decide just what it may be. better safe than sorry when it comes to anything under our skin that is just not 'normally' there or apparent. just get it looked at. please keep us posted. Just want you all to know that it was an oil gland and the doc started to squeeze this stuff out. No cancer, and of course, that is what I was thinking. Thank you all for your suggestions and replies.
