I know you guys are probably tired of me but I wanted to see if, in the first week, anyone else experience sore chest muscles? Is this normal?

I may have figured out the problem but I want to see what you guys think. WHen I went to dump out my humidifier water I noticed it was on 0 and I'm wondering, since I normally sleep on 1, if that has anything to do with it. When I woke up this morning, my sloat was slightly sore as well and my chest feels sore and a little congested.
Thanks for your help, guys! Your expertise is awesome.

Nope, never experienced sore chest muscles...but it sounds like you think it is related to your humidity levels, which makes sense to me.
How's it going otherwise? Any better?

Everything else is going okay. I'm adapting. I was just wondering if anyone else had had experience with the sore throat, sore chest msucles (more of the middle of my chest than anything).
I am thinking it is the no humidifer last night but I could be wrong and am freaking out a little bit as a result.

The sore throat could definitely be from lack of humidity...I did experience that when I first used my machine---for some reason I didn't think to hook up the humidifier, but again I was severely sleep deprived at that time.
I would think the sore chest muscles would be due to the humidity issue, also....have you ever had a bad cold when your chest felt tight and was sore? Best treatment for that is hopping in the shower and taking deep breaths....don't understand the physiology, but suspect there is a connection.
Do contact your doctor's office or your durable medical equipment provider for more info if you still have concerns...they'll probably give you info over the phone, unless it's serious...but most of these things are just common stuff...no need to freak....I can say that after 3 years of cpap, grin!
