Just posting to see if anyone has experienced similar results from gallbladder surgery. First of all my surgery went as smooth as silk, I was out of the hospital 20 hrs after surgery and feeling great. I did of course have abdominal soreness up to wazoo, but never did take any painkillers. With that said I have also eaten whatever I want and no sided effects or loose stools. So what could be wrong with this apparent bliss? 1) I am extremely constipated I went today after several days it was like passing bricks. So my symptom is atypical, why is that and does anyone have a similar result? Will it go away? 2) I also have loud abdominal sounds very different from before. Kind of weird? Any thought? I appreciate your responses.

Constipation is normal after anesthesia and pain meds (and they gave you some during surgery so you've had some in your system). No idea about the noises...possibly just from the gas they inflated you with to do the surgery.
