I am very concerned about putting my family at risk because I french kissed a person unknown to me at a bar and regretted it later. I cannot recall seeing or tasting blood as I was quite drunk. Should I forget about this episode or should I avoid unprotected sex with my regular partner until I have completed a test. French kissing was all that happened. What would you do in my situation, please advice.

I just want to add some additonal info to my question about the risk from french kissing. I have mouth herpes but did not have any open sores during the incident. I do not know if this affects the situation. I appreciate your replies.

There such a tiny tiny risk, that it's not even worth worrying about.

It is in theory, possible, if it was some pretty 'vigorous' kissing, and you both had open sores. But it's such a miniscule chance, that it's considered impossible.
