K I don't know much about HIV/AIDs...but can you catch it from a guy cumming in your mouth and you swallowing it? Or is it possible to catch it if you have like a sore in your mouth and he does his thing in your mouth and you swallow it? I know it's kinda dumb...but if someone could please let me know!! I read about a case where a gay man with gingivitis contracted HIV through giving oral sex. Cuts or sores in the mouth increase the risk. But only a few oral infections have been reported, and the risk, given present data, seems so small as to be merely theoretical. Still, it's possible to get herpes in your mouth or on your tonsils. As long as you're careful about who you swallow (or spit - getting it in your mouth isn't going to 100% safe), you'll most likely be fine.

So it IS or ISN'T possible to catch HIV from an infected person by giving oral but the chances are low...? Sorry I didn't understand very well.

According to what I have read, it is possible to get hiv from giving oral sex. While oral sex is considered to be low risk, it would still be a good idea to get tested in 3 months just to be on the safe side.

Take it easy! I have read the literature - the saying is "Swallow or spit, don't let it sit." Swallowing is the right thing to do.

If you're concerned about HIV infection from giving head make the dude wear a condom. Tell him you'll be able to bring him to the finish if he wears it. I'm sure he will, I know I do.

You can receive HIV from giving head. But do you KNOW that the guy you sucked is POSITIVE? If he doesn't have HIV, you have nothing to worry about.
