I know that this sounds ridiculous but someone please answer my question asap! I've been having dreams about catching HIV and i've always feared about catching the disease. Anyways, I went to a bar and some guy I don't even know offered me a drink. I went to the bathroom while he was getting drinks. I'm super worried that he might have put his blood or whatever to spread HIV. He kept on inviting me over to his place and I refused. I feel okay but a little tired and ache after drinking the drink. I'm super worried that he put blood or whatever inside my drink because it tasted so strong. Am I going nuts or what? Please someone help!

Well... I think you are a bit too paranoid. Anyway, if he put his blood in your drink (which I highly doubt... it was probably a mickey finn or something) the blood wouldn't have AIDS or HIV in it even if he had it. AIDS/HIV dies the instant it hits oxygen. It must of hit oxygen to drip into your drink. BUT HEY! Get tested if that's what ya really wanna do.

You had better chances of ingesting rohypnol (the date rape drug) during your visit to the bathroom than HIV-infected blood. Besides, HIV isn't transmitted through food or drink. It's the human immunodeficiency virus, not the vodka immunodeficiency virus.
Seek some counseling or social support (or an HIV test if you're that worried...if they even let you take one) if you can't get past this issue. Good luck and keep us posted. :)
