:(I've had a hard little lump for over a year now by my elbow. I just had a baby 2 months ago so I waited until after she was born to have it checked out. The doctor said it felt like a lymph node. I have noticed it get a little smaller, but not much after I had my daughter. I'm worried it is cancer. What else could it be? If my bloodwork comes back good should I be concerned? My other nodes were fine when he checked them. How concerned should I be? Anyone else experience this? :(

As you are so worried, I would tell your doctor how concerned you are. It probably is nothing to be worried about but biopsy is the only sure way to know. Bloodwork cannot rule out cancer.
Congratulations on the new baby!

thanks for your reply allison. besides an infection or cancer why would a lymph node by the elbow be hard for a year and a half. it has also not really changed sizes.
