My mother had a massive stroke March 15, 2008. She is paralyzed on her right side, cannot speak and is incontinent. It is very heart wrenching when you don't know what she is trying to say. We don't know how much she knows or how much she understands or comprehends. She hates wearing the depends and tries to take them off and has done so successfully. I wanted to know how can you tell if there is anything else going on with her? Could it be dementia? Should she be seeing a neurologist on a regular basis and if so what kind of tests would he do? Her right side that is paralyzed seems to bother her like it hurts. Is that possible? I'd like any information that anyone can give me.

My mum sufred a bleed in her head a hemmorage stoke. she did very well to recover from it and then things started to get worse she kept being sick all the time. the night before she came home she suffred a massive fiiting and even on the day of discharge
she came home in emergerny amblance only for 48 hours
she died on 30 may at 2.25 am and cremated 5 june at 1.30 it has been 60/61 days without her
my dad died 3 years ago from a massive heartattacks
i fell sucidal all the the without my mum
i miss too much heaps and hepas and hepas and heaps and heAPS
