Hi,

Over the past couple years I've grown quite accustom to sleep paralysis, as i get 1-4 episodes per month.

Last night I had an attack where only my right side was paralyzed upon waking. I could move my left arm and left leg freely, while my spine and right side were paralyzed. It was quite freaky. Has this happened to anyone else?

This happened on a very hot day, when I forgot to turn on the air conditioner. Is it possible that it could be some sort of stroke? Anyone else notice heat as a trigger for SP?

Also, I've found when i notice an SP attack coming on while sleeping sometimes i can just jerk myself out of it while its happening. This always seems like a tremendous amount of stress on my head, then the whole next day I seem quite out of it. Is it better to just ignore SP when it happens and not wake yourself up?

Thanks for any info
