View Full Version : Testing window with 1st generation Elisa

Robert 3 01-15-2003, 01:44 PM I was tested for HIV over 4 months after my exposure. I had unprotected vaginal sex. The town I live in is not very knowlegable about HIV. The doc said I could test again after a year. I am wondering that if they use 1st gen Elisa test is 4 months long enough to show? I have read that it is. Anyone have any knowledge? Even an earlier Elisa test is VERY sensitive. You are OK!! No HIV!!! But wear condoms from now on!! Be happy and be safe. |
