My AIDS specialist feels there is likely no specific brain damage, other than in an overall way. Hence, the
report of reduced volume. He feels my urinary incontinance is occuring as a result of the effects of HIV in my spine. Also, my problems with walking. So the possibility of me having had mini strokes last year is out.
The good news is that the Kaletra seems to be working at preventing the virus from reproducing, reducing my viral load count to 1147 parts per million/ml from over 500,000 previously. And my cd4 counts are up to 154.
