I have question about the weather how it may effect a healed broken calcaneous. I live in South Texas and the last couple of days we have had severe weather storms today my foot feels weird. It feels tight and my ankle is swollen, not bad but a little swollen. Since my accident (January) the weather has changed, rainy, cold and my foot didn't bother me at all. Not sure why it is bothering me today but it is feel tight not painful just not comfortable. Has anyone else experienced this? Boy the fun just never stops! ;)

Isn't there a hurricane in your neighborhood? A hurricane is an extreme low pressure system, far lower than most other weather you'd run into. Damp and rain are rumored to make pain worse, but it's the sudden drop in pressure that really makes old fractures and whatnot ache.
