Mine didn't heal at all. I had to have surgery to sew 'em back together.

Mind got worse and worse over the years from reptitive injuries. I just had surgery to replace them, since then weren't even attached anymore. I don't think they get better, but PT may help strengthen your ankle.

Sometimes they do heal, especially if only partially torn and immobilized properly. It takes a few months, though.

my dr told me it would take about 6 weeks. you can only wear certain types of shoes such as hard and sturdy ones. if it doesnt heal and the pain is severe then surgery would be required.
