These posts sound familiar. They all begin the same,

1. The person posting has, what they percieve to be an exposure to HIV.

2. The person experiences unexplained symptoms.

3. The person tests negative for HIV and all other diseases.

These posts remind me of many of the anxiety problems and physical symptoms associated with Gulf War Veterans who have Gulf War Illnesses. Many of these veterans are, and in some cases where, my friends. Is there an unexplained epidemic out there? Maybe. Is it terrorist related? Who knows. Is there an Iraq connection? Who knows. Someone post your opinion.

yes I am a victim of some viral illness that for the last 6 months has been making me very sick, I have had over 50 doctor visits and everybody says i have no major problems. Here is the thing if they don't have a test for it they say its in your mind. Let me tell you I would love to have any poster on this board wake up in my body for one day then they would know.

I have a very close friend that was a paratrooper in the Gulf. He has bad bad headaches and he is in remission with kidney cancer all from the Gulf. The headaches they cant find a reason for but they are there and they are daily 24/7. He is being treated by a pain management doc. He is just another victim like the countless other Vets. Bless you all

My point is, that if GWS is caused by an unknown or engineered bug / virus, and we did not detect it during the Gulf War, how would we know if this bug was released in the US? we wouldn't. This may be the reason for the scheduled invasion of Iraq.
