i have tmj / plus other issyes i usually post on the pain board but my pain meds and xanax do nothing for my jaws from clinching and almost locking down i was just put on voltaren 75 2x aday for my other issuses but sence its an ant-inflamitory will it help with my tmj??

Yes, it won't stop the teeth clenching but it'll reduce the inflammation and subsequent damage from it.

I was on Voltaren for my rheumatoid arthritis. It worked well, unfortunately it made my liver enzymes to go crazy. My rheumatologist said Voltaren is known for that - make sure they check your liver levels periodically just in case.

thanks for the reply! i am taking vicodin for other pain issues and it has tripled my liver and my pain dr was worried but he the perscribed me the voltaren i stoped taking it the other day it made me feel greesey and even my toungue felt greesey itwas really wierd and i felt disconnected so i wonder if it has to do w/ my liver? i've been having a prob gertting a hold of my dr i've been trying for almost 1 week the dr is fine but i made one of the nurses mad and turned her in now i can't get through to the dr...but glad to know it can mess w/ your liver thats the last thing i need right now!
