I had sex with a guy three days before i showed symptoms of a yeast infection. Is it possible that i might have given him the infection? its been a week since we've had sex and he hasn't showed any symptoms yet.

good question. i'm pretty sure he can get it. not sure what symptoms he would have. some men give a girl something nicknamed (tric) and it resembles a yeast infection. have a doc test you.

Trichonosis is something different. A yeast infection isn't an STD exactly, you can get one even if you are a virgin.
If a man has unprotected sex with a woman who has a yeast infection, he might get yeast, especially under his foreskin, if he is uncircumcised.
Since it's been a week, he's probably safe, and you can probably have sex again once you are 100% recovered.
However, if you keep getting them after sex, it could be you are sharing them and he has no symptoms, or the irritation of sexual activity is triggering them.
