Okay, I am new to this site...I am hoping for suggestions or find someone that has the same thing in common.
Before my kids (I have 3 kids), my hair was straight but course. When I was pregnant with my first, my hairdresser said my hair was georgous. I was flattered. After my second child my hair has had an alter course (this was 8-9 years ago)
Currently, my hair has two sections that are thick and thining and course and kinky, its the top part of my crown towards the back and its only 2 sections. The rest of my hairs is fine, except for the cow-licks (on one side its straighter and pulls down when I pull my bangs back and the otherside is curled...oh what fun.
When I wash my hair, after it is reasonable dry ( I dont use blow-dryer) I put my hair in a pony tail or that section in a pony tail to flatten it out. The other option I have or have used in the past (hairdresser) is a straightener. When a straightener was used, my hair had even texture all around, I could not stop touching it.
So, any suggestions ...thanks a bunch!

my hair has changed due to pregnancy & age
i have naturally pin straight hair, but now i get a "kink" right in the smack dab front oh my head by my bangs
from what my stylist told me, thats normal for hair to change every 5-7 years & her advice was to just take care of it with conditioners & regular trims & to eat healthy
sorry i wasnt much help but i do feel your pain....clipping hair up has just been easier than fighting its funkiness;)
