Ever since we started giving our almost one year old daughter whole milk, her breath is not so pleasant any more...It's almost like a sour smell. We brush her teeth before bed, so I am not concerned with a rotten tooth or anything like that. Her teeth all look good too. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this when they transitioned their babies to whole milk?
Thanks!
FYI ~ We're doing 1/2 milk and 1/2 formula right now as we slowly are doing a gradual adjustment. She is on a soy based formula. I wanted to do a gradual transition because I wasn't sure if she could tolerate milk.

Hey! I hate to see no one answer. I don't think I've ever noticed this issue with Ella before, but will keep an eye out for it. I am sure it's normal, and if you are brushing then I would think it's just the milk.

My husband who's lactose intolerant gets bad breath when he drinks milk. Also makes his stomach hurt, of course.
Is that your child's problem? I have no idea, in fact I doubt it as she would probably be letting you know how unhappy milk was making her. I'm just throwing ideas out there.
