I have suffered off and on with bloating for 7 years and it's always after eating too much fiber. Fiber irritates my intestines. It get's so bad sometimes, that I can't pass gas. Here's my advice...
Cut down on or eliminate fiber if the bloating is severe. It works for me. Then find a digestive enzyme with hydrochloric acid to help break down foods you eat. Most people with gerd thinks it's because of too much acid, but it is most likely the opposite, so the acid in the enzyme helps. Too little stomach acid will cause food to digest slow and just sit in your belly, causing gerd and bloating. Also, it wouldn't hurt to try a good probiotic to equalize your bodies flora.
I hope this helps you.
