I've been looking up some stuff on the pain in my foot and came across this, I do not know much about it though. I've had pain in the arch and ball of my right foot for months that runs up the back and inside of my leg. It feels like when your foot has gotten too cold and past the point of numb. If that explains it any better. I bought one of those arch bands at walgreens and it seemed to ease it enough for me to walk. Now the pain is in my left foot too, same pain, same place. I've had it looked at twice by my family Dr and she said I just needed to lose some weight. I've lost 30lbs and am within 10lbs of my ideal weight according to the BMI chart and the pain is getting worse.

I saw came across a website where a woman had said something about her Dr. suspected it could have been caused by a slipped disc. I have a pretty severe case of scoliosis and 5 bad discs, two of which are slipped and, the best way to describe it I guess would be, empty. Does this sound anything like what I've read or am I completely insane?

It does sound like nerve related symptoms. I have disc problems and if the area effected is the nerve root which controls heat and cold you could nerve damage or compression. My feet get really cold especially while in a cold room or during cold weather. I have some nerve damage which is causing it. There's nothing that can be done unless you have back surgery unless epidural injections would shrink the inflammation.

Try using ice on my your lower back to reduce inflammation and anti inflammatory meds if you can take them and see if this improves. Of course, ask your doctor for advice.

You're not crazy. You can get drop foot from spinal problems.
