I am wondering if anyone with TMJ experiences soreness right on their cheekbone(s). My cheekbone immediately in front of my left ear is very tender to the touch, and I think I am getting reflected pain from it on the top and back of my head. The actual jaw joint on that side doesn't hurt a lot but feels somewhat tight. It's just that I have a lot of tenderness on the bone directly in front of the joint. I have been diagnosed with TMJ by a dentist.

I was just wondering if anyone else experiences pain with TMJ that is near the join but not directly on/in the joint.
