Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm still alive. I overdosed on lithium and klonopin and have been in the psych ward ever since. Not fun. I don't feel that much better either. They started me on seroquel which I begged to be taken off of because of weight gain (i've put on 10 lbs since I've been in the hospital). Now I'm on 250mg of lamictal, 20mg of paxil (soon to hopefully switch to wellbutrin), 120mg of geodon, 0.5mg of klonopin twice a day.
I've mostly been sleeping my days away. I'm afraid of losing my friends, my job, my apartment, etc.
I don't know when they are going to let me out and I can only imagine how much this bill is going to be.
Hope you all are doing well. For now it's back to the psych ward for me!

(((((Llama!)))))
Hey, lady,
I've been thinking about you a lot and missing you here.
I'm sorry you're in the hospital from an overdose. You really have a rough time of it.
Well, you won't lose your friends here, and hopefully, your friends will understand and bear with you. I can understand being afraid you'll lose everything - but you're such a good person that I'd think people would accomodate your needs.
Was the overdose because of depression?
<deleted: inappropriate>
It the treatment you're getting outside the hospital filling your needs for early warning signal and help?
Well, I'm not glad you're in there, but I am glad you are safe.
Don't think if I ever asked you if you're with a private shrink or a clinic?
Let me know what I can do, if anything, to support you. I am thinking of you with fondness and hope that you're better really soon. And I'm relieved to see you back on the boards, too.
More hugs,
Seaturtle

Hi everybody! Thanks for the replies and sorry about the late reply!
I ended up going back down to the psych ward in that hospital and then ended up going to the state hospital. I just got priveleges to get access to a computer!
I am in the chemical dependency unit and never get to see the psychiatrist. Yet she is allowed to add more meds or take away meds or adjust the dosages w/o talking to me first. Oh and you have to have 100% med compliance or you lose your priveleges. Do you think that is fair? I am pretty frustrated here.
How are you all doing?

Llama,
Are you there voluntarily? Can you check yourself out to an outpatient program that might work better for you?
