View Full Version : Should I Test?

Hi

I'm getting conflicting advice as to whether I should test or not. I'd appreciate the views of those in this forum.

Here's my situation. I visited an Asian massage parlour. The attendant lubricated my penis and initiated vaginal sex for 'one-stroke'. Then she finished by giving me a hand job. I waited two weeks and got tested for gonnerhea and chlamydia, and the results were negative. That was a week ago.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Hello, NervousGuy. The real question is, would a test give you peace of mind, to get over the fact that you were most likelyn ot infected? If so, then by all means, test.

I tell you this, not to take away from your concern, your concern is legit. But your risk was indeed negligible, and although theoretically transmission hcan happen the way you describe it, a lot of scientific data, supports the fact that in a real-case scenario, this would not happen.

hi nervousguy
i am in the same boat you are. i had vaginal sex with a woman back in feb(12). i did about 1 stroke in her 2 at the most. i am doing my 12th week thursday may 8th to hopefully put this behind me. she was married so that is somewhat of a plus. i haven't had any side effects at all which i know sometimes can mean nothing.
but from what i have read and the dept of health in my state has told me, you are more likely to get it if she or you had clam or gonn. she gave me an emample of a case that happened in my state. an hiv infected guy slept with 3 girls. 2 of which already had gonn and clam. they tested postive, the "clean" girl tested negative. the virus has to get in your blood stream from what the dept of health stated. vaginal is the lowest risk esp for the male
hope this helps. get tested for a piece of mind!!!

Thanks for your advice.

Patriot, how have you coped during the waiting period for your test? I am severely stressed out over this - each day seems like a week.

I hope your test goes well. Please come back and let us know.

Thanks,

NervousGuy
